Delicious

Delicious is a social web service used to store, share and discover web bookmarks. In stead of shaving your favourite web pages in the web browser, you can save it here and you can access to them from all the computers you want, you only have to enter into you account. This page uses tags to found and order easier your bookmarks.

Dropbox

Dropbox is a website where you have 2GB of virtual space on the Internet, a tool that comes in handy to store data and share files. You can choose if the files you upload are public or private.

It is very useful, if you want to work from different computers do not need to keep in a pendrive, simply save it into your Dropbox account and you can access from any computer.

Twitter

Twitter is a social networking online where you can read and share text messages. It is not necessary to log in to see the comment of other people but if you want to publish something you have to have an account. You can use Twitter in English, Spanish, Japanese, Italian and French.
If you want to have news about somebody or see his twitters, you can follow him.

Picasa

Picasa is a programme to organise you photos. It's free and you can download it and have the programme in your computer.
These are the features of Picasa:
-Allows you to locate, view and organize all the files stored on your computer.
-Allows image editing: crop, remove red eye, ...
Allows you to create collages and slide shows.
-Allows the load online of the images in Picasa Web Albums. 
-It's available in 38 languages.

Vimeo

Vimeo is a Web 2.0 used to share videos online. This tool is free and anyone can use it. Vimeo does not allow videos TV commercials, demonstrations of video games, pornography or any content that has not been created by the user. The users must be registered to upload videos, create your profile, upload avatars, comment and create lists of favourites.

SlideShare is a web 2.0 used to share, in public or private, documents, videos and presentations. It's free and very easy to use. You can also view and download other users' presentations. It was created 4th of October 2006.
It allows embeds to share your document in a blog or a web page. It is only available in english.

Scribd is a tool to share documents online. It's free and nowadays, Scribd has more than 60 millions of users. This service offers upload files in differents formats such as Word, Excel, Power Point, OpenOffice.org, PDF, ...
It allows to upload files to everybody or just for the user you choose. It also allows embeds to share your document in some blog or web page.

Dipity

Dipity is a tool to create interactive timelines, also called chronological frieze. It's a graphic representation of the sequence of historical time. You can use this tool to create a timeline about historic events or about the life of somebody.

Prezi

Prezi is a tool used to create presentations online. This application is free, and easy to use. It’s only in English but the vocabulary is very simple and easy to understand. It’s consists of a large canvas where you can add pictures, text, videos, frames … It’s based on the structure of mind mapping with 3D dimension (zooms). The path gives order in the presentation.

I have created a presentation with Prezi about Barcelona. It’s too simple but you can have an idea about how it works:

Glogster is a tool that you use to create interactive posters online. This application is free and it’s easy to use, this is an advantage because if you aren’t professional and you want to make a poster, you have not to buy an application just for do it.

It’s an original idea for advises or promotion of events. You can insert music, movement, photos, …
